Print #1

I completed my very first print earlier this week and thought I'd share it with all of you. Its nothing spectacular, just a glimpse of the kind of stuff I will be producing in this class. Since it was my very first print, I didn't use great paper, but I thought it turned out well. This class is pretty hard core as far as work and clean up goes. The process is extremely messy (I love that aspect) and there are many steps to follow in order to do the process correctly. Just to give you a hint of what I mean, this is almost a 3 hour class, and all that I completed was this little tiny print. Yeah....
I enjoy it for the most part and I'm still learning. Better work will be produced and I will eventually know what the heck I'm doing. So for now, enjoy my first print. It may look like a 5 year old did it, and actually it reminds me a lot of what Rauschenberg would do, but I actually love it. It turned out exactly how I wanted it to and that's all the really matters.

I really like your work. The manequin heads are awesome and its always good to see a fellow artist getting some work. Do you have some art up around town? Are you from fort collins?

Yes I'm in the Fort Collins area. Unfortunately, I have no work up anywhere at the moment.
